- Back in 1963, Don, Kay, Del, Donnie, Steven, Mark, and Kelly Mitton took a little trip into the wilderness to explore some old mines and thus began a tradition that has continued till today. The next year, most of the males in the Mitton Family gathered along with the sons in law and nephews and traveled out west and the adventure continued for the next 45 years. The small groups have grown to nearly 100 men and boys. Only males are allowed to attend, making it the most unusual family reunion in the country. This website is for the participants to share their memories and photos with others. No real rules...just keep it clean.
